Bake to Perfection

Bake the cookies in batches until golden at the edges but still light brown in the centre. Let them cool for several minutes on the baking tray before transferring to a cooling rack. If you don’t want to bake all the cookies at once, you can store the dough balls in an airtight container or Ziploc bag in the freezer for up to 3 months. When you’re ready for fresh cookies, simply bake as needed, straight from the freezer.

Make Them Perfectly Round

Once the cookies are baked and still hot, you can use a cookie cutter larger than your cookie to adjust the shape and make them perfectly round. Simply place the cookie cutter over the cookie so that it is inside the cutter, then gently move it in circular motions to reshape the cookie.

Note

Biscoff Spread Alternatives: If you can't find Biscoff spread, you can substitute it with other cookie spreads, such as Nutella, for a different flavour profile.

Chocolate Chip Variations: Feel free to mix and match chocolate chips! Using a combination of milk, dark, and white chocolate chips can add depth to the flavour and make the cookies even more indulgent.

Dough Storage: If you have leftover dough, you can store it in the freezer for up to 3 months. Just shape the dough into balls, freeze them on a baking tray, and then transfer them to an airtight container.

Baking in Batches: Depending on your oven size, you may need to bake the cookies in batches. Make sure to leave enough space between each cookie on the tray to allow for spreading.

Cooling Time: Let the cookies cool on the baking tray for at least 5 minutes before transferring them to a cooling rack. This helps them set and prevents breakage.

Adjusting Shape: Once the cookies are baked and still hot, you can use a cookie cutter larger than your cookie to adjust the shape and make them perfectly round. Simply place the cookie cutter over the cookie so that it is inside the cutter, then gently move it in circular motions to reshape the cookie.

Serving Suggestions: These cookies pair wonderfully with a glass of milk or a scoop of vanilla ice cream for an extra special treat!

Adjusting Sweetness: If you prefer less sweetness, consider reducing the amount of sugar slightly or using dark chocolate chips, which can balance out the overall sweetness of the cookies.
